That Kuhn? Yeah, that's just plain sexy. Very jealous of that.

Thanks man. It's definately one of the best looking pieces in my collection. I was in love with the picture itself, such a great shot. And it looks fantastic IP with the gold. Definitely going on the wall.

Two today.. And a got a card back from my first ever mail in private signing!

Chick King, 1/1. Spent six years in the majors, two with the Cubbies in the late 50's.

Robert Mathis, 1/1. c/o Colts. Love this one. Awesome player.

Never did a private signing before.. Gonna do more after this though. Great way to get those tough to get guys for usually pretty cheap. For instance, $15 for this. Generally John Brodie's certs go for more than that because he doesn't sign much, especially after his stroke back in '03 (I think). He has an ugly college cert and a 97 Legends (tough one) so I went for this and was very pleased. Gridiron Signings did this, I recommend him!

Totally unrelated.. But referring to the Tony Gonzalez returns from the offseason.. I follow Tony on Twitter and FB and his nutrition/health products line does a lot of fan interaction and giveaways.. which means a lot of signed stuff. Literally all of the signed stuff he's given away (gloves, footballs, and today he's giving away cards..) those autos look JUST like the ones we all got back. Juuuust saying.
