Thanks buddy.
Thanks dude. I have three requests out to Jerry at different addy's, I don't expect any of them to come back. I have plenty of Rice autos already, so nbd but if I were to get one back I'll hook you up.
Thanks!
Thanks man. Yeah, when you consider what you'd pay for Rice at a signing, getting that, the Bruce and the others as a toss in (means more to me as a 9ers fan though) is a helluva price. Damn Insider Sports Deals tempts me at least three times a week.
Thanks!
Thanks dude. I'm jealous! If I athlete to meet it'd be Jerry. My answer has been the same since I was 5.

2 today.. Haven't said that in a while.
David Akers, 2/2. I don't wanna talk about the game yesterday, but I'm glad Akers was a part of our very special season. Greatest season by a kicker ever by one of the best kickers ever. Great guy, glad he's a 9er. Great (quick) read on him for anyone that's interested.

The gold looks MUCH better in person.. Wasn't crazy about the photo but I got this printed pretty early in the season when there wasn't a lot of good shots of him in 9ers gear. MIGHT send it to Andy who is a great signer TTM, but I think I'll ask him on Twitter first next season if its cool, don't wanna lose this.

Ed McCaffrey, 1/1. Had a solid career and won a ring with the 9ers in '94.

And for the heck of it.. Couple cert pickups.
Got this real cheap.. Like $10.. One of my favorite players.. Bummer he'll never see Cooperstown because of the 'roids.

Nabbed this for like $4 which I thought was insane since Walter Jones certs are scarce. Will probably get the Jones out of there someday for a cut for the HOF book, but for now at least I got it.

Nice Akers! I have had literally 20+ encounters with Dave at TC and not only would he sign but he'd always be willing to talk. I remember one year he took a kid out and let him hold a kick!
Wish he was still in Philly, but in glad to see another solid year for him. Guys an inspiration!

Those Akers look sweet in gold! Nice pick ups all around though.
Bummer about yesterdays game bro, but they have a young and great squad.

Thanks dude. And yeah, Akers is a great guy. I mean he used to answer email requests, how many NFL players do that?
Thanks dude. And yeah, it hurt but I can be proud of what we acomplished this season, and to think, this is just the beginning. That we'll get even better. What Harbaugh got out of these guys in a season with no offseason as a new HC.. Nothing short of brilliant. Shame both Harbaugh's had to lose on stupid special teams plays. Would have been a Superbowl of a lifetime.

Two today.
Eddie Haas, 2/2. Spent one year with the Cubs in '57 and had a pretty short and irrelevant major league career. I have nearly all the rest of the 50's living Cubs ready to send out, just gotta do it. Then move on to 60's which will take a lot more time! (Scanner cut off)

Buddy Ryan, 2/2. Got him before, but had these in a box and figured why not get them signed. Great success from an iconic defensive mind. Sigs look pretty solid even though the marker is thick, hope that means he's doing well. I think he has cancer of some kind and hasn't been doing the best the past couple years.

First thing is first: The Akers looks insane.
I also really like the Buddy Ryan. The card on the left is the one I got from him TTM.

From two days ago.
Jim Bunning, 1/2. Sent another vintage card, but was pretty beat up, maybe that's why he didn't sign it. No big deal, glad this one turned out so nice.

Amobi Okoye, 1/1. c/o home. Still think he has lots of potential. Was only 19 I think when he was drafted? He wasn't a total bust or anything in HOU, but I think under the right coaching he could be a good player. I think he's like 24 now?

And yesterday.
Bob Foster, 2/2. Both 8x10's. One of the best light heavyweight boxers of all time. Career record of 56-8, and lost to Ali in 8 rounds in a great fight (pictured on the bottom). Thanks to coclarkson for the top photo!

This bottom one had a gross colored background so I blacked it all out and it looks great with the gold pen (without the scanner dust of course).
