Ron Santo. Pretty stoked about this one, I'm a huge fan of Ronny as an announcer, and what he did with the Cubs. Guy's a class act if there ever was one, shame he hasn't made it to the HOF. Sent $5 for his JDRF foundation.
Milt Pappas.
And Ed Sprinkle. Kinda wish he'd have went over where his pen stalled, the Ed is indented pretty good into the card, just no ink. Oh well, cool success from an original NFL badass.

Yeah, I shouldn't have called it out so soon, I didn't realize he was slowing down and was sick for a while. I was just disheartened to see like 7 or 8 one week successes and I was on like day 14. Oh well, glad it came.

Friday...
Ok this is an awesome one for me. Again, sorry for the crappy pics..
First off, I got Chuck Bednarik again, had to have these 8x10s.
The "Famous" one. (These inscriptions are great!)
And this cool one.
And I threw a custom in as well..
Next, Brett Hull! Amazing that he signs TTM!
Then, another childhood hero, Penny Hardaway!
Next, Charley Trippi. I got him once early in the summer, but my dog got ahold of the card somehow, and big a couple holes in it, so I made two new customs and got him again.
And this last one is awesome, from Virgil Trucks. I didn't know he did all this. I sent a custom, and he sent back a nice looking "2 No Hitter" card that he signed, a little sheet with his career numbers (on he back is info on his book), inscribed "2x All Star, and '45 WS Champs" also signed, with a post it note saying he was glad to sign and "my best to you and your family" I mean, wow. What a great guy.
