Couple unexpected ones today!

First, Tyson Alualu signed my custom, and also added one of his own. Seems to be a common thing from rookies to add one of their cards, my guess is that the card companies give them a ton of their own cards. Sent this back in October or something.






As for the second one, I was leafing through what was in the mailbox and saw this long hand addressed envelope with no return address. I was trying to figure out what it would be. I tore it open, and saw "Dear Fan" on a letter, and immediately knew that it was from Chipper Jones! Inside was the card I originally sent him (unsigned as expected) and the pre-signed photo he sends. I wasn't sure exactly how reliable he was TTM, I knew he returned the signed photos, but I sent this back in July, I wasn't really expecting it back. Super stoked to add him to my collection, childhood hero and a future HOF'er.

Nice Chipper success. I am not a Braves fan but would like to add him to my collection. I think I am going to send to him this year.

I got Chipper on a Rookie Card early in his career, he sent a note back verifying he signed it, too. He's always been pretty good to the hobby.

nice stuff man. As for those rookies getting stacks of cards from the card companys is yes they do. they get stacks from diffrent card companys, ive have gotten stacks of crisp rockie cards from many of the niner players they just dont want or dont bother to get them.

Thanks. If you wanna get him, this year will most definitely be your last shot (for at least a while) assuming he won't sign a lot right after he hangs it up. I didn't think he'd come back this year, but he's going to try, he said he didn't want his fans' last image of him to be hitting .230 and injured. Gotta respect that.

Yeah, that make sense. Most of the 2010 rookies I got TTM, they sent one of their own with. You graph the 9ers much?

Got one today. Third time charm. Lee Roy Selmon signed my custom. I sent $5 this time. I'd always see people get him for free (or at least disclosing that they sent a fee), I sent two and never seen them again. When I joined SCN I saw that most people sent money, so I did just that. Custom looks like garbage, but at the time I couldn't find a good picture of him and I didn't feel like making another.

Epic chipper!! I sent to him only 2 weeks ago. I know my card wont get signed but hope i get the pic you got back. its a great picture. congrats..

Lee-Roy looks good also. I need to re-send to him also with $5. I have made the same mistake you have requesting with no $$, with the impression he signs fro free but i have seen enough returns with donations to know better now. lol

he will be on my next batch.. well done my friend.. nice returns..
