Haha, yup that was him. I mentioned that in my letter, I still laugh whenever I see that video clip. Rome is a weasel, he deserved that for sure.

Another return today..
Dermontti Dawson, 2/2. I got him a while back for myself, but these are for my Steelers fan cousin. It pains me to hook up a Steelers fan, but I knew he'd love these..
I may swap one of mine from Dermontti for the Topps before I give them to him.. I love that set.

Ha, I'm really not that lucky.
I just got super lucky with Ernie Banks. Sent him a two page letter and caught him when he was in Chicago.. Dumb luck compared to how many requests people send and never see again.

Nothing in today.. But I bought a mat from jyosi and stuck it in a nice black frame and it looks amazing.
The pic doesn't do it justice, it looks fantastic.
On a side note.. I don't know if Hobby Lobby's sales are for ALL stores or just local, but literally everything is half off in one of my Hobby Lobby stores right now. Walked out with that nice frame and a baseball display cube for six bucks and some change. Awesome deals.

Matt Birk, 1/1. c/o Home address. Glad to have gotten this, classy guy and a great player. Wanted to do a custom, but there is literally NOTHING for pictures big enough and the few that are aren't a clear shot I could use. Guy barely has any cards either, which is odd for a 6x Pro Bowler.
EJ Holub, 1/1. Another cool one, he was a 5x AFL All-Star but still underappreciated IMO. Added this note too. I sent this in April, so it wasn't a long wait, but sometimes some people have a one year turnaround with him so maybe he just stuck that in everyone's envelope.

Awesome stuff; wish I'd known Birk had a card in '05 Topps...looks much better than the Topps Total card I sent him with two other players. Congrats on getting him back!
