    On Ebay --- when something is too good to be true, avoid it.

    B/c when you find out, it's too late to ask for your money back (unless you're dealing with a significant amount, like $500+)

    Sellers on Ebay aren't idiots

    in most cases, these guys are playing a numbers game. If they sell X amount of lots, they may Y amount of money. They can then afford to send out ((Y/X) - profit) worth in each lot. Some lots will be worth more than others, and some will be worth crap. It's a numbers game... and remember, the guys that did this didn't pay anywhere near what the cards are worth to get them. So yes, you have a chance at getting some decent stuff... but just as good a chance of getting crap.
