    Question Champs or Ice?

I need some advice. I am looking to complete a set from this year, and have narrowed it down to Champs or Ice. from what I've been able to find, Champs seems to be a better value for the price and it has more that I'd like for my PC, but the Ice cards hold their value better and (IMO) look better. Im on a fairly tight budget for the hobby, so the cheaper price point on Champs is an issue. I was wondering if there was something else I overlooked. thanks in advance

Yes. agreed. The ice cards look better, but the Champs are cheaper, and are still hard-signed. Id go with Champs also.

The Ice set would be way to expensive if you are on a budget. Champs would be better then.

If you are do the champs set are you planning on doing all the mini's and naturaly history cards too? If so, that set is probably a lot bigger and in my experience those natural history minis aren't that cheap if you need to buy them all to complete the set.

Champs and Ice are like night and day.

Champs is a niche product whereas Ice is broader collected and is going to cost you a lot more in the long run. As much as you like the fact that Ice holds it's value more, I think you need to focus on your collection from a hobby perspective and not a resale perspective.

go with the Champs if on budget, those Ice sets can get verrrryy pricey, and like max91less said, Tavares at least 250 - 300, maybe even more, and chances of pulling it are very slim, and im sure Duchene will be up around 200 - 250 mark as well. For the price you would pay for both of those u could get probably 6 - 8 boxes of Champs.

And the other thing, with the champs you could even throw say the Mini Game Jersey set together with it as once the products newness has wore off they go very cheap. Ive seen the 08-09 Champs Crosby Jersey sell between 10 - 15 for example
