Best Racing Cards

Good afternoon! I am a football card collector myself, but my father-in-law is a huge NASCAR fan, and i want to get him a box of cards for his birthday. He collects die-cast, so I figure that this would be perfect for him. However, I have no idea what cards to get him. What are the best current racing cards? I'm not looking to spend $400 a box or anything, but I do want to get something pretty nice that has some nice hits in it (if there even are hits in racing cards). I would greatly appreciate any advice! Thanks in advance!

If you wanna spend around $70ish, I'd go with a box of Stealth or Premium...those will yield two hits a box (one RU, one Auto)....if you wanna go in the $100 range, go with a Wheels Main Event or Eclipse product where you'll see four hits a box (3 RU, 1 Auto).

2010 Eclipse is the best there is right now. It is 115.00 a box plus shipping through Enigma (Cardsbythebox) but the price is well worth it. Like Jeremy said above it has 4 hits to it, 3ru'd and one auto. Unlike the rest of sports where hits come cheap, racing hold there value steady also.

I like premium, but if you hate sticker autos stay far away from it. Press Pass 2 is real cheap i think around 55-60? I didnt like vip, at least sealth had more muticolor race used.

Yeah premium is nice besides for the sticker autos-the best current stuff is Eclipse-Stealth will be nice which comes out in may i think.
