WTB - High End Basketball RC's
So here is the deal – I am testing the waters on potentially getting back into collecting. I haven’t decided yet as I am a bit skeptical of how the hobby will continue to flourish without Upper Deck in all sports, super high end products etc…but we’ll see how it goes –
So here is the deal – I am, and always have been, a Rookie Card Collector. Usually a players Top 1-3 RC’s (obvious for older guys - Griffey UD, Jordan Fleer, Montana Topps etc…and then brands like Bowman Chrome, Contenders, SP Authentic for the newer guys)
Money isn’t an object – I can spend whatever I want – but I haven’t been out of the game long enough to get screwed by anyone. I know the card market has hit a bit of a bump since I got out so I want to see who needs some $$. I’m not looking to pay true sale values – I’m looking for deals – I won’t screw anyone but the intent of my post is to test the waters and help out people that need $$ quick for bills etc…
I know this might sound like I’m trying to get some ridiculous deal – and perhaps I am – but I’m not jumping in head first. I’m testing it out and seeing how I feel about it.
Throw some RC Auto lists/buckets at me – but if you have an item that sells on eBay for $100 don’t expect that from me. I’m probably paying anywhere from 60% - 80% sale value right now unless it is a card I really want. I’m trying to see what good deals I can get, hook people up that have bills to pay, and see if it peaks my interest again.
Thanks.
Edited to Add - I have TONS of really nice high end Memorobilia I can offer in trades (LeBron Basketball, Griffey Baseball, Brady Helmet etc...) No cards yet however. Thanks.

You have got to be kidding right? I dont know if anyone will even offer you anything
Why would anyone want to accept 60-80% sale value? Unless they are a crackhead

Thanks for the worthless reply - perhaps you could take some time to read next time.
I'm not asking for specific items - people are welcome to offer whatever they want. I know plenty of traders that are willing to offer a $100.00 eBay card for $80.00 to avoid listing costs, the hassle of eBay, and to have cash instantly.
Not everyone has a week in this economy to lists cards on eBay. I'm offering up cash money on the spot.
So save your pointless replies.

You are certainly welcome to your opinion - and I do respect it. Sorry if it came off harsh.
Worthless was my word because it added nothing of value to my thread. People are welcome to their own opinion but it doesn't need to be voiced when I was quite clear what my intentions were. This isn't in the "discussion" or "chat" thread - I am clearly stating what I am willing to purchase. If people don't have anything to sell then there is no reason to post.
I've bought 4 items today that have a $40 ballpark sale range but I've paid in the $32 range simply to save people the trouble of listing on eBay and give them paypal immediately.
That's the idea. Plenty of people have auto'd rookies they don't care about and would rather sell to me to get paypal, and immediately buy or pay for something on eBay, then wait 2 weeks for listing and receiving payment and pay listing fees to sell that same card.
Think about it - a card you want ends today and you need $30.00 - you have a card you don't care about that sells for maybe $40. If you needed that $30.00 you'd have to list, wait 7 days to sell, then wait for payment and to ship to the purchaser, and pay listing fees before you ever get your $40 less the listing fees.
That's the point of my listing.
I certainly don't expect people to offer me $500 cards for $400.
