Thank you, SCF! And before you all ask, I'll answer: "Who's Matt Ware?"
Matt Ware is a DB/S who played for the Philadelphia Eagles (2004-2005) and Arizona Cardinals (2006-2011). Matt and I went to Loyola HS, graduating in the same class. He was just recently named to the all-decade team on CalHiSports.com for the 2000's. He also played minor league baseball for two seasons in the Seattle Mariners farm system.
He played in two Super Bowls, 2004 with the Eagles and 2009 with the Cardinals.
Matt has just 79 cards, including 19 1/1's, with almost all of them coming in his rookie year, 2004. He has had only one other card produced since then, in 2006 Topps Total, that he shares with two other players.
I have over 3,500 of his cards, including a huge number of his rarest cards. I would have more, but I gave one copy of each card I had to his family.
I have ALL 3 of his 1/1 parallel inserts: 2004 Bowman Chrome Blue Refractor 1/1, 2004 Donruss Classics Timeless Tributes Platinum 1/1, and 2004 Reflections Black 1/1.
I have 6 of the 12 rookie year printing plates, including 3 of the 4 SPx plates, and 2 of his Upper Deck plates. I am still looking for any of the 4 plates from 2006 Topps Total. I saw the 2004 Upper Deck Black Printing Plate listed on another site and on photobucket, but I have not been able to track it down. I lost his 2004 Upper Deck Blue Printing Plate, but I lost it to his family on ebay.
I have 13 of 50 2004 Bowman Chrome Gold Refractors, 6 of 25 SPx Spectrum Golds, and 23 of 100 Topps Chrome Black Refractors, some of his best inserts and parallels.
I have at least one copy of EVERY SINGLE card, 1/1's included. I am only missing printing plates.
I have his only non-card pieces of memorabilia, 2008 and 2010 Disabled American Veterans oversized cards. I own 5 game used jerseys: a powder blue game worn UCLA jersey, a white game worn UCLA jersey, his only 2004 road white game used Philadelphia Eagles jersey, a 2009 home Arizona Cardinals jersey and, most importantly, his 2005 home green game used Philadelphia Eagles jersey that he wore when he ran back a blocked FG for the game winning TD vs. the Chargers in 2005! I have a dozen hand signed cards of his, a signed inscribed 16 x 20, and a signed Eagles mini helmet. I also have a UCLA program where he appears on the cover.
Amount Non-1/1's Owned (60)/Amount Produced (60) = 100% Owned
Amount 1/1's Owned (9)/Amount Produced (19) = 47% Owned (missing 10 printing plates)

Any additional information that sets your collection apart: I challenge anyone to have as complete of a collection as I do of such a non-superstar player!
Here's my favorite stat about my collection: I have over 12.18% of every serial numbered card ever produced of Matt. I have 1,300 of the 10,670 TOTAL serial numbered cards, across all sets.
I also have 103 of the 110 2004 Bowman Uncirculated Gold cards made, and, somehow, 239 of his 2004 Bowman Chrome Uncirculated White Refractors, even though Topps stated they only made 210. Interesting...
My collection's current book value stands at over $20,000. Yup. For MATT WARE.
Now who wants to help me find those last printing plates?Last edited by jrlebert; 10-09-2014 at 02:33 AM.

Congrats on your honor. I remember Matt Ware, not only was he a good nickel corner for my Birds, but he was also great Madden 04 fodder since you could trade a starter and just work him up in your preseason drills to be a 90 plus. I think I even sent him to 4 or 5 pro bowls! Congrats again.

Thanks! I most certainly love being helped, and helping alike! I think the supercollectors should establish a network. So that when we go to shows or shops or whatever, we would have a list of stuff to look for or ask about. It could only help our collections!
