I hate Redemptions.

So about 3 or 4 months ago I bought a Fleer Platinum Luke McCown auto/jersey redemption for $15,not too bad of a deal.I sent it in the next day,but seeing what happened with my last redemption (Leaf Lee Suggs auto that they claim they "never recieved" from me,screwed out of something I paid $40 for) I made a copy of the redemption this time,so no one can screw me over.But anyway,I sent it in the next day,and sometime last month sent Fleer an email saying I send it in,I've been waiting (insert # here) months for it,whats going on,etc,etc.So they email me back the next day saying that he supposedly hasn't sent in the cards to them yet. *screams obscenities* I HATE REDEMPTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!

I learned and learned quickly that redemptions from fleer are the WORST.. Good luck with your process. If they still dont believe you sent it in just show them what you have copied.

More companies need to go the UD route and digitize these redemptions to make them available to redeem over the internet. That way you are guaranteed to receive your cards, plus you expedite the process by skipping over the lengthy process of waiting for the letter to reach the appropriate employee.

I'm waiting for 3 redemptions right now.... One from UD and 2 from Leaf. Even though I can check my redemption status online with UD, they havent updated the status since 12/15 so that gets kind of annoyign after a while, but at least I know the status ya know?

I still have 2 redemeption from UD that I am waiting for since Nov 16th. I also redeem them over the net. I e-mailed UD just before christmas asking for a status and they said they would ship me the cards ASAP. I still have not received anything as of yet.

I hate redemptions as much as the next guy. Fleer is by far the worst, and thus the reason I buy no fleer products anymore. Anyone take the time to count the EXCH cards in Fleer Genuine? Check out the most current beckett. I think there are 73 different listed EXCH cards out of 150 total cards listed. And most of the live ones are Chad Johnson and Aaron Brooks. What do you think the odds are that the people will get their Pennington, Manning and Favre 1/1 patches etc? Fleer sucks.

But I digress... :)

UD is decent enough with the online process, the other nice thing is you can just have someone email you the redemption code and save shipping, mail time, potentially lost mail either to you or to the company etc... I like that. Plus the 2 times I've had UD replace a redemption because it took so long, I got more than 4x my bv for it, which was awesome. Fleer on the other send me a pack of fleer tradition basketball and a gu bat of Brett Boone for my 8 month wait on my Pujols auto. I did eventually get the Pujols auto but that still sucked.

it took UD 1 year to fill some of my 02 Sweet Spot auto/rc's. but I like UD over the others especially Playoff.

I guess i have a little better lick than you have had. Sent in a auto redemption Travis Henry to fleer. It was an Fleer Authentix. When I got it back 6 weeks later I got a note saying that they did not have any more Fleer Authentix autos of Travis but they gave me 2 cards a Fleer Autographics Travis Henry and a Fleer Ultra auto Archie Griffin. Bolth pretty good cards. Hope that you have better luck with the Redemption cards you send in.

I had an experiance w/ fleer. I sent a 02 Fleer Authentix Auto/Jersey Ticket card that was expired and after some communication w/ them they sent me a vince auto #'ed 25. bv300 +. I later realized that my card i had a redemption for was a 1/1 jersey auto! grrrr....i contacted fleer but they said there was nothing they could do. well what are ya gonna do. Fleer BLOWS!! w/ redem. matters.

they said they sent it out a month ago but i have not got it
what should i do?
