Anyone have their tonsils removed recently?
It hurt as bad as everyone says? I'm having my surgery on the 31st. Any tips to help ease the pain would be greatly appreciated.

I had mine taken out when I was 17 (9 years ago)
It wasn't bad. All depends on your pain tolerance. I was eating KFC and Long John's the next day.
Just drink lots of fluids and don't be afraid to stretch those muscles, eat food, all that stuff. Helps you heal quicker. It's not bad dude.

I had mine out when I was 3-4. I hear they say it is worse for adult, but sounds like grant had an easy experience.

my 3 year old daughter just had hers out about 4 months ago. She seemed linke she was in a little pain but not very much. She ate a lot of ice cream and drank alot of juice. No matter how many times she brushed her teeth she had the worst smelling breath i have ever smelled until it healed completely. SHouldnt be too bad for you.
