its a photo shoot jersey, no rookie gu is ever game worn its always photo shoot jerseys, therefore like it has been said any years jersey is used. the card isnt an error or a mistake its just not game used.

Fabian Brunstrom's shield's are both like that too. UD used some of the newer shields for Bogo and old shields for some reason.

Glad to see it will be in a Doughty PC, especially yours Holden, congrats! At least the Doughty is the right kind of shield :)

Thanks a ton bud! Yea honestly i dont care a ton that bogosians shield isn't right as-long as doughty's is. They are both two great defenseman and will be the cream of the crop for years to come and im just glad i have a place for this piece.
I did however have to trade my doughty property of card but hey i got the card i wanted so thats all that matters ;)

you traded your property of for the dual shield??? Wow. IMO I'd much rather have the property of. Shields flood the markets. But hey whatever makes you happy I guess. BTW the card is a beat and I wish I had it myself

not always true. my 05-06 Cup Lundqvist / Jagr Dual Shields 1/1 has a game worn shield for Lundqvist. i believe the Crosby and Ovechkins were also game used.

Unless it is still on the actual jersey or stick, I don't believe any us of can know for sure so I would say that's a subjective statement Kev. Plus the fact UD has absolutely botched so many cards and mixed up swatches............
I mean unless you have the documentation from purchase point and pictures of the jersey from the Rags locker room to UD's facility to production and everything in between, there is no way to tell.
I'll give ITG this, I have actually challenged them on stuff and they have procured the source and documentation for certain things I requested.
While I don't have the off the player's back to production photos, and can't say FOR SURE with them, I do have a heckuva lot more to go on with them than UD................

it's not subjective; that's what it says on the back of the card. also, i'm not seeing how this has anything to do with ITG. the same argument could be applied for any company. regardless if documentation is provided, that doesn't guarantee the cut up jersey, patch, shield wasn't mixed up with another player's during production. if anything UD could have easily kept the printing to read photoshoot jersey and kept it consistent with the majority of their rookie year shields and no one would have questioned it.Last edited by SkyFire47; 03-23-2010 at 07:58 AM.
