Ultimate Rare Lebron James BGS 9.5 Topps Contemporary Rookie FT!

Topps Contemporary Lebron James Rookie, BGS 9.5 Gem Mint! Anyone who has seen these cards knows how the surfaces usually have refractor lines, or the edges aren't in the best shape.... this one is gem! The person who traded it to me said there were only 5 graded BGS 9.5 when he picked it up, but I have no way to verify since I am not a member of Beckett (anyone who could check to see if that number is higher would be awesome!).

There are only six closed auctions on regular ungraded Lebron rookies from this set, they aren't easy to come by, let alone with this grade. The $300 bv was close to what I traded for it at (gave a little more with multiple cards), but have passed on an offer of $150. Would also think about a trade for a Kobe or Lebron auto on this one, can also add some $ towards an MJ. Gonna take something nice for this one.

    Thanks!

I like his Chrome Refractor card better, I own one myself. =) Beckett lists it is as 25-60. There are 45 BGS 9.5 in existence, so that guy basically lied to you man.

I do like the chrome refractor, I just see more of those, haven't seen as many of these.

And I deal with the guy often, he didn't really lie, he did say "When I picked it up", and I am sure there have been a lot more graded since he said he'd had it awhile. Still not a ton around, and probably a lot of them are tucked away by investors.

Thanks for the update on population though!
