Calling All Newfies - Will We Ever Get a Card Show?

I've been dying to go to a card show and i mean how hard can they really be to organize? I know any other Newfies here feel the pain of this, and just curious think we will ever get one? If not, lets take a stand!

I feel your pain, and wish a show could be organized here. I guess we will have to live with the weekly flea market with the same sellers. And alot of locals who do not want to meet up to do trades as there are alot of us

LOL i have talked to one of our hobby shops to even try to organize a meet and greet trade night but i dont think they were very interested. More so happy with the status quo as they are making money. 3 hobby shops plus a weekly flea market where they are always there. They have to be meking enough money to not be really interested in organizing anything else unfortualtly

However if we could get a few bodies to say go in on a case and room rental or someone volunteering their house for a first get together. That would be fun

Edit; as for a actual show i dont think we will ever see one here. Just too much travel cost

NO CARD SHOWS id cry myself to sleep if i only had 1 or 2 places to always go too. you guys should get a group of 4-6 people for a case break, or rent a gym from a school or something for a trade thing or church basement, something cheap.

If we had a show up here in Fort McMurray, that would be the next-best thing to having one in Newfoundland!
