    Unfortunately, eBay has become very tough for sellers to succeed unless you sell in high volumes or have high-end stuff. Honestly, you're probably better off just letting the guy pay what he claims he should pay and take the hit. It's easier to absorb a minimal $ loss than try to rebuild your reputation if he leaves you multiple negative feedback ratings.

    and ebay claims the new policies are to "protect" the sellers. thats a bunch of crap. ebay would come down on a bad seller but wont do the same for a buyer. its no good.
