The so-called Northway rivalry, dominated on the ice by the Rats (7-1-1-0), is taking a more affable tone. The Phantoms are succeeding in their first year at Glens Falls, and the Rats -- who were instrumental in getting the American Hockey League back to the Adirondack region -- are packing their bags for Charlotte, N.C., when this season ends.
