Hello everyone ... from UFC 111

Hi everyone ... Saturday morning and waiting for the fights.

We were fortunate enough to get front row seats for the Q&A session with Matt Serra and the weigh-ins. Had the opportunity to get photos with Serra, UFC match maker Joe Silva, Nick Catone, Patrick Cote, Mike Goldberg, Jon Jones and David Louisuea (sp?).

Hardy looked tough with his red contacts in, but I don't think they intimidated GS in any way. Rush looks ready to fight tonight.

Nate Diaz was again a jerk with both hands in the air, middle finger flying. I hope Markham knocks his block off!

I'll post pictures when I get home next week ...

    Take care all ...

Win or lose, he's still a thug. Now that he is in the 170 division, he is going to hit a brick wall soon... as soon as he fights someone with real talent. Markham was brought back as a can that had one nice headkick KO.

On the part that he came in overweight, that is just as disrespectful as the crude actions of Diaz. That said, in the fight game, you have to love some and hate some. Makes it interesting, so I suppose it's a good thing that characters such as the Diaz brothers exist.

LoL yea, don't get me wrong... Nate's one of my favs but he'll be going back to 155 sooner rather than later... he doesn't have enough power in his hands to hang with some of the bigger guys. His ground game is great but that's the biggest part of his game... dunno why, I've just always thought he was funny.

Very cool, looking forward to seeing your pics. I would recommend anyone going to a fight in the future to go a day early and hit the weigh-ins, Q&A, and autograph sessions. Plus, there's usually tons of other fighters hanging around (esp in Vegas), so you have lot of opportunities to meet them and get some pics.
