i honestly cannot believe you are even comparing shaq to greg ostertag.. you say olajuwon showed him up in the finals.. please remind me how long ago that was.. i believe shaq was in his 4th year in the league.. maybe third.. there is a HUGE difference... look at it this way if you think he sucks

again... even if shaq is ZERO talent he still is good for 25, 10, and a couple blocks and a couple assists a night.. with no talent.. the mvp is not who puts up the best numbers though... it is who is the most valuable.. wade would not get many of his jumpers if shaq wasnt taking up space in the lane drawing double and triple teams.. look at last year.. they didnt have a guy doing that and look what happens.. wade tries to do too much and shoots a lower percentage.. im not saying wade is not a good player he just isnt MVP of the league..

also i love your line is shaq wasnt 7 foot 320 he would be another ostertag... ostertags playing size was 7'2" 300.. so they are about the same size.. if your hypothesis was correct shaq would be a terrible player

When was th last time a team changed their gameplan because of what he can do? it doesnt happen.. teams have always had to change defense because of shaq... whocares where his talent level is.. it is obviously more advanced than every other big man in the league if he can change a game more than he can... Wade and amare get highlights.. much like Jason Williams when he had his decent season.. everyone saw him throwing oops and sick passes but he wasnt an all around player.. sure he could, and still can hit a shot in the clutch but he isnt rounded enough to be considered an MVP candidate

bottom line, shaq does more for his team than wade does... the heat are an average team without him and are at least top 3 with him
