TTM to actors/comedians
Quick question to all that have TTM someone at a venue that they are performing at. Do you do anything special with your envelpe or just name of person c/o venue. Is it best to send to a venue that they are going to do multiple appearances or does it matter?
Thanks for the help

You need to research the venue. Most do pass it on but some like MSG don't.
Usually I address it with the artists name c/o their tour manager with the venue's name under that and the address. Sometimes I will post the event date on the bottom right corner so they know when it is to be delivered.
Some artists are great with VV mail. Some not some much. I suggest reading fanmail.biz (I think) as they have a whole thread on the venues that do and don't pass it on and the srtists known not to sign VV.

If you are writing via movie set you don't meed to add anything, for venues like comedy clubs I always write it c/o the club and put "Venue: Please hold for ________ until ______" I have also noticed that comedians are great via venue and if you find a venue that will pass it on (just call them and ask) chances are you will get it back....

Best of Luck! There are also a few addresses for comedians in the TTMM that work well. I personally have gotten names like Lisa Lampanelli and Ron White.

Got a refusal on my first shot. Received my Seinfeld photo back in my return envelop with a note from somebody stating she tried to get him to sign it but he refused. Sent c/o the Wharton Center.

I actually heard about that venue having alot of refusals. Try again as Jerry Seinfeld is one of the best signers VV. I think it was the way they tried to do it at the Wharton Center (they opened the mail, then tried to get him to sign the photos) instead of giving him his mail directly...

Has anyone ever done TTM via venue where the venue was SNL?

Isn't SNL live from the same studio each week? I'm prety sure it is. I think the announcer lists the cast and the theatre name before each show. It's in NYC. Pretty sure the cast rehearses all week from there too.
