if you have a chance of ending the auction, tell him to post it on ebay for a buy it now, purchase he gets your money, and you get your card. I've done it a couple times on the bay for people.

I'd just end it outside of Ebay. You never know with super high end 1/1's especially from the Cup. I can see it staying at this price, but it also wouldnt shock me if the card went for $600. There are quite a number of "Cup" collectors out there who you normally wouldn't expect to have interest in certain players. I have been surprised with where and whom I've found certain rare cards from the Cup. Being that it is one of Fuhr's best cards ever released, I would also take that into account. If you can afford to lose it, then wait, if this is a PC must, then guarantee yourself the card and get it through Paypal. Asking the seller just to list it with a BIN on Ebay negates the purpose of going outside to complete the deal. On a transaction like this one, sellers have to pay between $30-50 in Ebay fees by the time its done, thus he would obviously want to go through Paypal. I also dont see why you wouldnt be protected as long as you list what it is you are paying for when you make your payment. Either way, best of luck.

Good points, but if we did it outside of ebay, he wants paypal as "gift". Thats what worries me.
