    2009 Topps Sterling Box Break

I’ve been slowly plowing through a pile of boxes I bought from my local dealer, and I decided to pull a box of 2009 Topps Sterling to break. I’ve had some mixed feelings about this product, as I believe that 2009 Topps Tribute is a much better product. You are basically paying $100 per hit in this product, while Tribute offers a much better bang at $50 per hit. But back onto this product, which I got for a pretty low price of only $190 per box (sounds sarcastic, but $190 for this box isn’t horrible). Here is how I did:

    Bonus Pack:
    Nolan Ryan White Suede 48/50

    No cut auto for me.

    Jim Palmer 41/250
    Reggie Jackson 86/250
    Joe Morgan 212/250

    Hits:
    Jim Palmer Quad Relic 9/25
    Ouch…..

Robin Young Quad Relic Auto 1/10

That was a rough break. I think for the amount of money that you are paying they should at least guarantee something really good in each box. At least an auto, because I’ve heard that only half the boxes have an auto. Well let me know how you think I did and scans can be located here:
