Little UD Rant
Alright lemme go ahead and preface this by saying I love UD. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I think they make the best cards out there. That said, I'm not here to start a UD/ITG/whoever argument. I'm writing this because I noticed something that confused me today, and honestly it ticks me off. I have this card:

In case that photo doesn't show for some reason, its an OPC premier Brassard quad jersey/auto RC.
Now here's the problem I have. On the right edge of this card, next to the jerseys, it says, "authentic game used". Now when you look on the back what does it say? Event used?! What the...?
This is just flat out bizarre and super frustrating. How can UD flat out LIE on a card? I bought this card knowing that it was event used. Didn't even notice what it said (on the front) when I bought it. But seriously? That's just ridiculous.

UD is not known for their attention to detail.

I think I've herd UD's response to this before.
You're mistaking the card name for what is in the card.
The card is not an "OPC Premier Rookie" Card autographed by Brassard with authentic Game used swatches.
This card is an "OPC Premier Rookie Authentic Game Used" Card autographed Brassard with jersey swatches. They gave it a nice misleading name to entive you into the card, not becase its actually descriptive in any way.
See the distinction? Its like this. If I have a duck and it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, but I call it a cow, well, I just made 400$ from the beef factory. Let them figure out what do to with it.
Cheers,

I'm optimistic... however this wouldn't surprise me after all of their "trust" issues this year.

I got the same explaination from them "auth game used" is the subset name and is a proper noun, not and adjective. To me, it's the equal of finding someone else in N.America Names Sidney Crosby, taking their mens beer league jersey that happens to be a Pens #87 and selling it as a game worn article. I'd like to see it hold up on court.

If that's the only thing that ticks you off about UD you're already ahead of the game. Not only does UD lie on the card, they lie off it too.
