    Rant against myself

I am sick and tired of me not being able to get trades done due to my laziness...been trying to put all my traders in the bucket sorted by teams and have completely stalled at the M's . There have been quite a few people out there who offered to try and trade with me (you know who you are) and they are looking for cards from teams past the M's and I just sit here and look at the stack of cards I have and am overwhelmed at the work before me ....work, kid, wife and the occassional pub crawl seem to be taking my time .

I am going to try to suck it up this weekend and try to get to the Penguins but probably won't as something will distract me from my mission...like watching snow melt.

Anyone got any advice? Also to the traders who have probably given up on my getting this stuff done I apologize and humbly ask that you continue with your patience as Hell might just freeze over and I will shoot you the team folders once complete

Yes, I feel like a turd

Don't be lazy. Once you get it done it's easy to maintain

I agree, dont think about the work it takes. Just do it, and stay focused. It will be over before you know it. Like cnshockey said, once you get it done it will be easy to keep up with it.

Just like the others have said once it's done it's easy to maintain.

Try doing a little at a time over the course of the whole weekend. You will be shocked at how much you can get done.

My guess is that half the battle is getting past the boredom of doing it by yourself. Get some help. If you have kids, wife, or friends that are interested in cards the may be able to help you organize/scan/list the cards and it won't seem like such a tedious task. Even if they don't actually help, having someone around to BS with helps pass the time and always makes my monotonous activities easier to bare.

Yeah I had a sweet Dipeitro patch/jersey /5 a while back. Looked through your bucket and didn't see anything so never messaged you. I see a lot of things I could have worked in a trade now. So you missed out, should try to get it done it'll only help you in the long run.

Only thing I could suggest - instead of worrying about a buckett..... just write a list. I don't know exactly what kind of stuff you've got..... but a Young Guns RC is a Young Guns RC. No real need, IMO, to scan them.

Some of the patches & autos I get. Especailly if they're really unique looking.

My way of doing it, has always been to post a list, and scan on request.

, I have half the teams done, really would be the end of me if I had to list all my cards...the eyes ain't what they used to be and my typing skills are about 1 step above a monkeys'.

I appreciate all the replies from everyone and figure I just have to suck it up and get the train back on the tracks.

If the Islanders can remain in the Playoff hunt, even if only by their jocks I can do this.

    Cheers

U should try making a couple of deals, feel an accompliment, and won't feel so down in the dumps.
I hear the Pens are a real hard team to hound, but if u get a couple of autos, you will feel proud of yourself that u got something accomplishment. Hope to hear you stories. I'm hounding the Flames next week, and really really really really hope I can meet Iggy. Or White or Conrpy.

    -Andrew :)
