Dude what are you trying to find out???? Do you have a 1/1 that you like and you want help on a price or are you just asking what a 1/1 would cost? There's no point in answering the 2nd one because 1/1s are very very very hard to find and it'd be pointless to give you a price on a card that you will probably never find. Plus Darren helm doesn't have a lot of cards meaning few 1/1s.

Remember some folks are new to the hobby. We all been there so need to get irritated by questions. As teachers like to say there never a dumb question.
Also, I disagree on your price for two reasons as you seen what some of those crazy HG's went for. You never know what one could go for 10 or a 100.
In the end there nothing any of us can tell you what kind of ballpark 1 of 1 go for. All it takes is two folks to truly bid up the card. Since it a 1 of 1 there no other chance you going to get a chance to get it again.
Example Andrew is working on the Robbie Earl 1 of 1 printing plates. He down to the last of 4 as he has the other three. He might have gotten good deals on the other 3 but if someone knows he wants it bad he might have to pay out the nose for it.
As folks like to say a card worth what someone is willing to pay. The main factor on 1 of 1's is your not going to get another chance to get that same card if it had 10, 25, or a 100 copies for the price to go down. As they will have better ballparks of what it would go for. 1 of 1's are truly unpredictable.
I have paid as little as 5 for prinitng plates of noobs and up to a 50 for better stay players.

Okay well thank you guys for trying to help me out! I know it might be a little annoying when newbs ask questions like these when you've been doing for so long because you just know it off by heart right?! Basically what I was getting at was that I wanted to trade for a 1/1 and I wanted to know if they were like minimum $50 or something. But thank you for the help!

1/1s are worth whatever people are willing to pay. it varies from player to player and by set. you can buy some 1/1's for real cheap (mostly of lower end players), but there is no saying how much some will go for and there are also a lot of surprising auctions at how high they go.

It really and truly depends on the set, the player, where it's being listed (on eBay, if it's a highly desirable player/card, the sky's the limit) and whether it's a show-stamped 1/1 or a "true" 1/1. There's no defined minimum or maximum.
Helm's a decent player who will have some upside to him, plus he's in a rather popular market so there's potential there.
But unless we're told what set it is, it's tough to get an idea of where to start ballparking a figure. It's definitely not Beehive since that product line was discontinued in 06-07. Black Diamond 1/1s can fetch some good coin, OPC doesn't have 1/1s, Artifacts has different 1/1s (memorabilia, parallels, etc.), so it all depends on having all the information available for us to be able to give you as much help as we can.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

For Darren Helm, not many 1/1 outside printing plate. you got one in Black Diamond, Artifact, Game used, the cup, OPC premiere and the rest is mostly printing plates. You also have about 10 ITG 1/1 of Darren Helm.
If you see one for trade and if you tell us what card it is then it's much easier to give you a trade value on a specific card. Next maybe post the card and say you are looking for a trade value. Often trade value are higher then sell value for many person.
