    Protecting Your Cards....

Seeing as how I just got back into the hobby I was wondering everyones techniques on preserving their cards. I have recently organized mine into alphabetical order and keep sets in books so I can see them and most of my other cards go in boxes. I am going to start using soft sleeves on all my commons from here on out and hard plastics on better cards. I don't trust the books nor the boxes actually thing they will mess up taking them out. Any help?

For any gu/auto/rc/vintage or other high value cards I put in sleeves and toploaders. Other than that I keep the rest in binders and boxes.

I keep my gu, #ed, and high bv cards in sleeves and toploaders. Autographed cards are kept in binders. All other cards are put in soft sleeves and arranged by year and card# in 32 quart plastic containers.
