for football you could try upperdeck, bowman or bowman chrome, topps or topps chrome, if you want to hit like 3 or 4 for sure things like game used or autos sp authentic will pretty much do 3 but then your looking to pay about 150 off ebay for a box

if you are just starting a football collection I would recommend not buying a box to get one or two game used or a possible auto and spend your money on ebay. Many game used go for a couple bucks these days. Check it out.

im not sure what your into but this is what i do. I never used ebay, so i dont know much about it. You can buy boxes online. The best place seems to be dacardworld.com, and ive been thinking about trying CharmCityCards.com. CharmCity is good for seeing what sets are out and what is coming out. What you wanna do is go to the card company sites, like fleer.com, upperdeck.com, topps.com, and so on. They have a list of sets that are out and you can see what the cards look like. Find some cards that meet your taste and then go to one of the other sites i mentioned to check price. And when you read the description or the picture of the box, it will tell you what each box contains, such as "1 auto and 2 game-used per box".

Ive just started collecting Fleer Authentix. Thats a really nice card set if you wanna check it out. Just go to fleer.com to see what the cards look like.

One word of advice: Never buy Boxes/Packs off Ebay. There's a huge chance they're searched.
