thanks! in reference to your name, I grew up in seattle and moved to hawaii for grad school, so I readily identify with both parts of your name :D

several of my friends out here are amazing surfers, but they aren't quite as good as those guys. I'm not a huge fan of Laird myself (Tom Curren / Irons Brothers FTW) but it's nice to see that kind of stuff being put into major card company certified autograph sets.

this hangs in our entryway just under a gyotaku of a tako catching a shrimp. and yes, there is a ton of ocean-themed art on the walls :)

in terms of ocean theme... we also picked up an 8x10 signed by captains Sig Hansen and Phil Harris (before his untimely passing) from the show "The Deadliest Catch" that I am enamored with. Love that show. I'll eventually take a picture and post that too!

Just got in the most treasured card to our limited surfing collection... Have another on the way, but I doubt I'll be tempted to move either one of them.



RIP Andy Irons - I know the injunction on his autopsy / toxicology report is up on May 20, and I just hope that everything turns out ok for his wife and little Andy
