Received an award
I just was informed and received my award for Firefighter of the Year for city for 2009. I was pretty stunned since I was the recipient last year as well. It is something that has never been done in our county. I am humbled by it and proud too. I also was told in January that I am cancer free for my first year check-up. I believe I am back and didn't let the cancer stop my career but became a "speed bump" and pushed me harder.
Just wanted to let my friends know. Thanks friends.

Congrats!! Fantastic news all around! I was actually thinking about you the other day and wondering how you were doing, but once I sign on here I forget everything I wanted to do and everyone I wanted to PM :)

Thanks for all the nice comments. Yep I believe things are looking up and Andrew it's ok I forget things all the time but it's because I am old.....at least that is what some people say. Thanks again.
