Six Players attack coach
Players attack coach
Six Slovenian ice hockey players who beat up their American coach after winning a league title were released by the team.
Mike Posma, a New Jersey native and former American Hockey League player who took over as coach of Acroni Jesenice last year, was beaten up by his players Saturday. He was cut and bruised but not seriously injured.
The six players were reportedly angry at Posma because he allegedly told a 19-year-old backup goaltender to drive a car - even though he knew the man was drunk. The goaltender subsequently crashed the car.
The six then turned on the coach, reportedly beating him with wooden traffic signs found by a roadside.

I dunno, it sounds to me like the coach did deserve at least one smack upside the head.

Learn something new everyday. As G.I JOE used to say knowing is half the battle. Perhaps the coach would disagree with that as he was hurt severly.

Well the players deserve punishment but so does the coach for allowing a drunk 19 year to drive. No one used any brain cells in this but that is what excessive drinking does. Stops people from thinking clearly and make wise choices.
