that fact that the card is off centered leads me to beleive it's probably an origional - but I'm neither an expert on vintage cards, or familiar with any reprint series of those parkhurst cards.
The best thing to do is compare it with another card from the same set that you know is legit. I'm guessing this is an online purchase though, and you don't have the card in front of you to look at?
Only other adive I can give - when deals look too good to be true, they probably are. I have no idea what that Horton card should be worth..... but if you're going to buy a $500 card for $50, I would question how legit the card is.
Saying all that - is there anything that makes you think the card isn't legit? Why not just ask the seller - is this an orgional or reprint?

The card was for sale for $85 and is valued in new beckett book at 150 low and 250 high. The owner does not know as they are not a collector of card but got this in an estate sale trunk with a few other cards(or so they say)
I have done a bit of research and it seems that most reprints have a reprint # on the back. This does not in the picture. Just looking fort soem advice.
and yes it is an internet buy
I am more worried that it is a reprint from the 92-93 parkhurst set then anything

If it's a true one, you have a steal there. Those corners are very sharp

I have had a number of these in my hands and this one looks better then any card I have ever seen from this year so I would be hesitant as well. Always another one out there if you pass. My 2 cents.

Looks legit. I held up some of my 54-55 Parkhurst to the screen and compared, didn't see anything out of the ordinary.
