Why no Devils/Flyers on TV???
OK - so looking at the NHL playoff schedule, it appears that not a single game of the Devils/Flyers first round series will be shown on US television
. See the NHL schedule here:

What gives? I get that Crosby and Ovechkin are big draws, but, sheesh, Marty Brodeur is no slouch and Kovalchuk and Parise aren't half bad either. Plus, it's a series with a natural rivalry and should have a little snarl to it to make it even more interesting. This series is the only one entirely blacked out.
Am I the only one who thinks this is bogus?

You are not the only one who thinkgs this is bogus. Just ask my wall that I punched a hole through when I saw the schedule. (not literally)
This is complete crap. Way to screw over two teams and their fans.

It doesn't really matter to me because the games will be on MSG plus but yeah this is probably going to be one of the best first round matchups...

Perhaps they are hoping to save fans from having to see blood shed?

I dont like it either!
I used to be able to watch the streaming games online, but the NHL site took that over & put a stop to the site I found.
Anyone know of a site that you can watch games live?

According to the Devils website, the game is being televised on RIS (a French Canadian channel) and TSN (Canadian sports network). MSG also has nothing on it's site regarding televising the games. It appears to me that the games will not be televised in the US, even in the local markets. Hopefully somebody, somewhere will come to their senses
or something will change between now and Wednesday.

I would check with the local channel they normally play on. Here is Chicago Comcast sports is showing all the games in the first round except for a game that is scheduled for NBC.
