Bleacher Report is just people who write articles, they aren't credible lol.
But i did read this on Yahoo.
Too bad the Lakers couldn't beat them yesterday so we could face them in the first round.

Brandon Roy will require surgery, still hopes to play
Portland guard Brandon Roy will need surgery after the season to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee.
He has been resting the knee and plans to get it re-evaluated on Friday.
Doctors have told him that playing on the knee won't risk further injury, as long as he can handle the pain.
"Now, it's just a matter of if I can play, then I'll play as long as I can, and as long as we can as a team," Roy said. "And [I'll] have the surgery when the season is over. That's best case scenario for me, play as long as I can until the season is over."

Looks like he's going to try to play through the injury, although surgery is necessary.
