I'll deal you Filatov and a pick for Savard.

Exactly. Edmonton is fine at center. And now with all this determined....I have to make another thread lol.

The only good thing about this is that the Bruins didn't move up.

    Thanks hockey gods.

Doesn't matter, they still made out like bandits. Hall or Seguin and probably a top 10 pick next year too.

Yeah but next years draft is INCREDIBLY weak. The only true star I see coming out of the draft right now is Adam Larsson, who is one of the best D prospects in a while and actually projected close to a Drew Doughty but aside from that the draft isn't strong at all. So really, the B's will get Seguin and then a decent prospect unless Toronto sucks even more than they did this year.

Hey dude...I'm trying to feel good about this. It's kinda hard when you remind me that the Leafs aren't going to pick in the 1st round 2 years straight.

WHEN GOD? WHEN'S IT GONNA BE OUR TIME?

Who knows? Either Hall or Seguin in a Bruins uniform sucks. Plus they get that player for 3 years at an entry level salary versus what the Leafs have to pay Kessel. Production will probably be close to same for all 3 players even next year unless Kessel really gets a top center to play with.

I ALMOST feel confident to say that Hall will score more goals than Kessel. I don't want to give the total cnshockey guarantee as I have on Hall going 1st and the Sharks choking but I really think it could happen. Sorry but TO sucks offensively and really unless they sign a playmaker to work with Kessel, Hall has a chance to score more goals than him.

BUT...Seguin will go #2 to the B's. That would have been your pick. No way Seguin scores more than Kessel. Seguin's a playmaker, not a goal scorer like Hall. If TO had found a way to keep this 1st round but still land Kessel, they could put together a SCARY line with a ton of youth that could dominate for a number of years. Truly sucks for you guys that Burke traded that pick away.

I'm now going to try and buy tix to the 1st game in LA vs the Oils.

You never go to any of the games you say you are! Besides you'll be in BC by then right?

It doesn't matter if Boston moved up or not, 1st and 2nd pick is a coin toss this year, either could be stars or Alexander Daigle!

The only good thing about this is that the Bruins didn't move up.

    Thanks hockey gods.
