    Cards that are # 001/XXX

What are you thoughts on cards that are the "first" one printed in a serialed number set.

In example, I have Corey Brewer card number 001/199, does this make a card more valuable or is it still the same?

    Thoughts!

Buyers always pay more for the first card and the jersey number of the player. I, however, think it should add zero value, especially when people say its a 1/1. Technically, every serial number card is a 1/1. There was only 1 3/xx printed as well as 1/xx. However, you will easily find someone willing to pay a higher price for a 1/xx on ebay.

People pay more for them no doubt about it. For me personally it´s indifferent.

I am indifferent to those types of things, but I know there are some buyers who value a card a little bit more if it is the first serial numbered card.

I'm on some streak where I keep pulling first and last in print cards. I think they are distinctive, and therefore pretty darn cool. They won't lose any more value when the player decides they want their number changed ;)

I wont go out of my way to buy a card that's first/ last/ I may for a jersey number because that's kind of cool especially if it's someone like D-Rose (which would also make it 1/ of course) But these items do indeed sell for a bit more generally.

I wouldn't pay more, but I may consider trading a bit more in value for a 21/xx or 5/xx Garnett. I know lots of people will pay more though. However, it does not affect the stated value in any book - 97/99, 1/99 and 31/99 are all worth the same amount, but they won't necessarily sell for the same amount.

Even a 10/10 has more value.

It could mean the difference of $100.
I saw two cards that was a 6/10 and a 10/10. One went for 200 while the other was 300.
