    Need help with eBay selling.. please!

    Hey Gang,

    I've made purchases from eBay but have never sold anything.. now I'm looking into it and as a complete newbie, I could use some help!

    Here's my first question(s):

    1.. Regarding collection of fees by eBay - are they taken directly from your PayPal account automatically or do you have to confirm it? Does it matter if you have a credit card on file with PayPal or not? Does eBay wait until payment is made from the buyer or does it happen if you receive payment or not?

    They bill you at the end of each monthly cycle for your TOTAL fees for that month. They will take it out of existing paypal or your checking account.

    Ok, next question -- is the fee charged by eBay based only on the sale price or is it the total price including shipping that they look at?

    The final value fee is only charged on the final sale price, not including the shipping and handling. Good luck, Jeremy
