Looking a Maia and Gracie in the last UFC confirmed what I've been saying for years; you must be well rounded in wrestling, striking and BJJ to survive in the UFC. You can't continue to be one-dimensional! You can't we a pure wrestler, a pure BJJ or a pure striker and expect to be a champion in the UFC. If you look at all the Champions (outside of maybe Lesnar) they are all well rounded; GSP, Fedor, Anderson Silva, Frankie Edgar, Aldo, etc.

Even the top Brazillian guys in the sport (Also, Silva, Dos Santos) are more of strikers than they are submission specialists!
