    Question on 2004 box prices

I just started collecting this year for the first time since the early '90's. I was wondering if the prices of 2004 boxes will drop as we get closer to 2005 or will they stay hot because of the sweet rookie class. I want to drop about $500 on boxes, but I'm wondering if I should wait till the summer. Anyone?

2004 Boxes have been on fire all season due to the great Rookie crop this year. Might take a longer amount of time to see the drop in box prices. Right now, they are actually on the rise. You can get some really good deals on 2003 products if you are not just looking for 2004.

I wouldnt rely on the prices dropping. I started a basketball Topps Chrome set last year when they first came out and the boxes were 80$. If i try to get one now, its going to put me back, over $150.
