1995 Archives Brooklyn Dodgers Box Set - $4 at Goodwill

Wandering through Goodwill and looking at the boxes and boxes of commons they have lying around and tucked in the back was this box set. I don't collect current baseball but love the older stuff so I figured what the heck - $4? That's nothing. Brought it home, checked to see if all the cards were there (they were) and opted to look it up. Couldn't believe my eyes! Books for $120? Nice...

Nice find! I've looked before, and never found any cards at our local Goodwill stores. Maybe I should look more often.

No, it's not sealed. There's that old saying 'Never look a gift horse in the mouth' though so I'm happy. The thrift stores around here (PDX, OR) usually have cards but it's more often than not just a plethora of 1989 Donruss commons at best. Today was a good day for cards and collectibles all around so I'm quite happy either way. I've found that 9 out of 10 times you find nothing but that one time makes all the other misses worth it!
