    To Buy: SPGU or Black?

Hey guys, I am in a serious debate with myself over whether to get 3 boxes of SPGU or 3 boxes of UD Black. I've never bought any Black, but have two sitting here waiting for me to open (am going to get in a few more boxes first so I can do a nice break), and was going to order SPGU but then got to thinking maybe I should get more Black..

My choice is Black. Got me a Crosby GNT on the first box. Damaged mind you, but still a nice box hit. The other 2 boxes I busted were the foldout swatch cards featuring 12 GUs or whatever in each box. So far Black has been good to me and it's at a decent price point. Never tried SPGU and probably never will. Not really liking the product breakout to be honest. But that's just me.

    SPGU without a doubt!

I opened 13 boxes (1 for me, 12 for my site GB) and there are so many nice hits in there!

UD Black is a HUGE gamble IMO. You will probably have more value in your 3 boxes of SPGU than 3 boxes of UD Black.

PM me and we'll talk about it. Got some Nash high-ends only though. I've only got 1 low-end.

I've opened up tons of both and can say without question to go SPGU. It's really loaded and the Black is quite easy to take a bath on. Let me tell you what I got in my last case of GU and you tell me Black could be better: Tavares Sig No's Auto dual jsy /91; Shirokov RC 1/1; Duchene Rookie Exclusives au; Gustavsson Inked Sweaters jsy/auto /50; Grabner RC to 99 and parallel to 50; dual Kane Toews auto; Kane Marks of a Nation auto patch /50; Lemieux Number Marks auto /25; Sundin Fight Strap /10; ...and so on, and so forth. Well worth the money. You can easily pull $50 worth of cards from a box of black, even less if you get two crap rookies. Often unsigned, I might add, thanks to UD's stellar collation.

Yeah, that's my big beef with the Black- the unsigned Lettermen this year- what a waste, and there seems to be one in every pack..

Any interest in moving that Lemieux Number Marks ;-)
