Sometimes it just doesn't make sense

Browsing Ebay over the past few days, I've been looking at UDA signed memorabilia. I noticed a couple UDA basketballs last night that were ending soon - signed by Sean May and Gerald Green. I know, nothing terribly exciting there, but... they were official game balls which make them high quality leather. No composite indoor/outdoor junk. Anyway, I won both auctions. That's two official NBA basketballs, and I paid just over $50 shipped for BOTH. These basketballs usually go for $80-$110 each at Champs, Sports Authority, etc. My plan is to take off the UDA stickers, pump up the balls to 8 psig, and use them at the gym. The market is so saturated with junk autos, that they're actually devaluing basketball gear.

I don't know if I in particular would do the same, but it's a good idea. Some good equipment with a no-name auto on them might as well just be used in the game itself! Haha

Interesting idea. The gym I play at tends to have basketball shortages, so we could probably use some of those also, lol.

Lol, That's actually a REALLY REALLY great idea! I always wanted an official ball to play with, but never could bring myself to spend 80$ for a ball. This is a fantastic idea!!! Maybe I can find a Adam Haluska UDA ball!!

That is a beautiful idea! Maybe now i'll have a nice basketball to play, time to go searching! Thanks UD for flooding the market, I knew you weren't completely useless!
