Grrr....
Got home yesterday to find one of my returned SASE's in my mailbox... EMPTY! hadn't even been sealed. So, I'm guessing one of my recent attempts got busted open within the postal system. Now, I just have to guess which one it was. I can narrow it down to 1 of about 4. Wieters, Zavada, Volstad, or Nyjer Morgan. Guess I'll have to wait and see who comes back.
But in honesty, I'll probably never know.

I hate when that happens!... It happened to me once, and I still don't know who it was from.

What a bummer! Sorry, dude! I always buy the peel n seal envelopes in hopes that they will close them up without having to lick them as I did have that happen once.

I feel your pain. I sent a baseball to Stephen Strasburg c/o AZ fall league and got the sase back empty a couple weeks later. It ripped open and God knows where the ball is now. I still have not been able to get his auto.

I also use the peel and stick envelopes.
I had an SASE show up that was not sealed but the card was inside. So now I write the name of the person on the inside of the envelope flap right were it folds. At least this way if I get an empty SASE I know who it came from.Buying Quincy Carter GUs and Autos

Look at the postmark and that should help narrow it down.

Postmark was from my local hub. So, it blew early.
