THEY SAID WHAT?????
"You want it back but you can't do anything about it at that point," Quick said about Mikael Samuelsson's skipping 35-foot shot,
which eluded him to give the Canucks a 2-0 lead just 9:49 in. "As soon as they drop the puck again you completely forget about it
because it's a still a two-goal game, you're still in it and there's still a lot of hockey to play. The team responded."
"Simmonds played tremendous," Murray said. "He was twice the player he was in Game 1, I felt.
He's skating. He's on the puck. He played heavier. He played grittier."
(on the power play…)
DOUGHTY: “The power play has been huge. We work on it every day and we’ve been watching a lot of video on it.
We watched their PK to see what they do, and we’ve done a great job so far. Hopefully we can continue to capitalize,
because that’s where we’re getting our scoring chances.”
(on the comeback…)
KOPITAR: “We didn’t let down. I thought, in the last part of the first period, we played really good.
We really got our game going, which is the forechecks and the cycles. In the second, we got rewarded with a couple goals,
and then I thought we played really smart and we didn’t sit back. We just kept going after them and it paid off.”
------------------------------------------------------
"You give a team six penalties they're going to capitalize, said Ryan Kesler, who had two assists.
"We've got to figure it out and stay out of the box."
VIGNEAULT: “It was the wrong call. You are allowed five feet, and the rule is the player coming on the ice cannot play the puck.
While, yeah, that puck touched one of our players, it touched Kevin Bieksa, trying to get off the ice because he was cut.
We’ve got two referees that got red stripes on their sweaters. They should make the call if they think it’s a penalty, and not the linesman.”
“When Kopitar took the initial shot, Kesler went down to block it, and I thought he kind of had it under him.
I couldn't find it and it squirted out right onto his stick."-Roberto Luongo (on the game-winner)
ONE LAST THOUGHT
7 – Consecutive overtime games for the Kings, dating back to the regular season.

And end this GDT with a FROZEN MOMENT!!! DREW DOUGHTY WITH THE GAME WINNER IN OT ON THE POWER PLAY!!!

I like it! I'd love if you did one for the Wing's games in the future.

If you don't have enough time for all of them, just make you do the Flyers.

Maybe you could add something like biggest performers and biggest letdowns so far or something like that. Whether it be in the series or just the last game.
I don't know what to say to add because it seems pretty complete to me.

I would liek to stick to info I can get from the internet and not include my own opinion in it....(as to let downs and such) - That is what the posts after are for :)

Well you could always do it by stats. For example, people that have had a lot of points for each team in the last game/series and then people that either took a lot of penalties or had a bad +\-.
Not sure though if it could be done every game.

I will look into those stats - probably get those from the recaps after the previous game
