Help needed determining a value...
I just bought this card:
2003 Absolute Memorabilia Spectrum Byron Leftwich Lace/JSY/Ball #/25
The regular Lefty RC, which just has the JSY and ball and is #/750, books for $50. I saw someone trying to sell the Bethel Johnson Spectrum card for $199, but I thought that was real high. Any ideas on what my new Lefty may be worth? It's not priced in Beckett due to scarcity.
Thanks for your input!

Well truthfully buddy. Something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it not what it books. My suggestion is the card is worth what you paid for it. Very nice card by the way.

The internet allows a seller to find great deals and also find people who are willing to pay inflated prices.
I'm not really asking for a "cash" value, but a "book" value so I know what to ask for when trading this card. I know what I paid for it and I know that I can sell it for more than that, but I really bought it as trade bait to get something I really want.

cardfreak is sort of there. you can put your own bv on it if you wish
but what I do for cards that don't book is I just see what is offered for it. I mean sometimes you will be surprised by what is offered. But if you wish to keep it it shouldn't matter
