How much would you pay for...

    A box of 1997-98 Bowman's Best Hobby?

In the past, i've paid around $50-$60.

I'd probably do $40-$50 at most.

I would pay 30$ at most, not because that's what it's worth really, but just how much I would be willing to pay for it personally cause I'm just out shopping for deals when it comes to boxes. I've been on a mini buying spree of late 90s, early 00s boxes, been able to get many at around $15 a box dlvd. Decent products too like Metal and Stadium Club. Bowman's best is probably a decent product worth the 40-50$ you spend on it.

This question is right up my alley. I absolutely LOVE the shiny stuff from the mid '90s, but since the '96-'97 stuff is so ridiculously expensive, this and Finest from this year is usually a nice alternative. However, I don't have any LCS's around me so whenever stuff hits the bay, people seem to bid this stuff up endlessly so that it goes for over $50 a box. If you have the money, then by all means pay that much, but the product really isn't worth that much. The likelihood of pulling something like a Duncan Atomic Refractor is next to nonexistent and this stuff doesn't hold the value that it did 12 years ago. /rant lol.

All in All, if I could get a box for around $40, I would do it in a heartbeat and feel like I got a pretty good deal.

    Thanks for the comments.

The last box i bought was in the $60 range and i was lucky to pull a Tim Duncan RC Refractor and this mirror image insert that had Michael Jordan and some now no-name players.

It would be nice to pull an autograph like Karl Malone from this set. I just like to open hobby boxes from when i started collecting. The late 90s were when i was in middle school and all i could get were packs of Topps (they were 99 cents) and others from Wal-Mart.
