    1940-50's Baseball team pinback buttons

Hi, I'm new to the forum and I was looking for a little help on some old baseball pins that my dad has. They are baseball trademark team pins from the 40's or 50's and I believe that they sold for a penny a piece. There are 144 pins on the piece of cardboard. He bought them at an old store that went out of business in the early eighties. The pins are in perfect condition. I have seen some of the pins for sale on ebay for around $10 a piece, but I have never seen the whole set like this.

Does anyone have a ballpark of what the total value would be worth?
