I could do without Ultimate, it's kind of redundant and junky, especially with it's sister set OPCP, which actually, in all fairness , DOES blow. Ultimate will still be made this year since a majority of the signed cards are in house. SPA and The Cup are staples at this point.
As far as going bankrupt, they may have to file but they won't go under completely. They'll either be bought by someone else or go under temporarily and then reemerge under a new owner, I don;t think UD will never exist but there is DEFINITELY going to be some big changes.
I am thinking new ownership/and less is more (like ITG! What a novel idea UD!
)
Word is that McWilliam is already out and a new CEO/figurehead in place so that is a VERY positive sign.

it's been a while but we DEFINITELY agree on something! i like the route ITG's going with the bigger swatch/patch thing but UD just doesn't seem to get it with their constant, quad jersey/quad patch gargbage setup.

I'm with Barrie on this one, the ship may be taking on water but I have a hard time believing that it will sink completely or that anyone wants to see/deal with the fallout from a situation like that(imagine the ripple effect a complete GM/Chrysler collapse, though to a much lesser extent as we are dealing with hockey cards here and not automobiles
, would've had across the world, suppliers, outsourcing manufacturers, etc. all gone.)
