Placing Order Tonight - Let me know what you think

Intended on placing this order on Monday but work got in the way. So I'm sitting here in my hotel trying to figure out what to get. Not sure why I am hesitant but I guess because it has been 6 months since my last box buys and I have been away from the hobby.

Bear in mind I like to open packs and am not very keen on paying $100 for 1 pack to open. If you can justify it to me aside from potential value, I'd love to hear it.


Anyways, I plan on buying the following boxes below:

07/08 Fleer Ultra - Cheap box and I liked them last year...hard to beat for $24
07/08 Fleer Hot Prospects - Mid range...Durant and Acie Law rookie hunt
08/09 Fleer Hot Prospects - Mid range...No real reason aside from getting some 08/09 rookies
09/10 Panini Certified - Mid-Range.... Same as above but for 09/10 rookies


My PC is Acie Law and I am considering looking at getting into Dejuan Blair as well. And yes I could spend the money on ebay for my PC, but I love opening packs. That being said....


What would you change above?
Willing to spend another $100.... What would you add/change with another $100?

Hopefully I will get a few opinions before its too late! Thanks for all your help guys.

My opinion cause i have horrible luck buying boxes is to buy rookies of the guys you wanna collect. Its hard to get your money out of a box and i love to open packs also but have horrible luck. Good luck in your breaks!

I think rookies and stars longevity(4 hits for 40$) or prestige are real good.

Lots of rookies in prestige and you could get some pretty good hits. Would be difficult getting a Lacie law if that's all you're looking for.
But either way. Good luck. I can't look away from packs no matter what!!

Well bein an UNC collector, I bought alot of boxes in 05/06 win we won the Title.. but I havent really broke quite as much till this year 09/10 cause we won another.. lookin for UNC stuff

with AC Law bein your pc the 07/08 stuff might net ya some nice stuff. I didnt buy much stuff that year.. it just depends on who ya like from that year

with 08/09 you get the 2 guys in Rose and Mayo.. will get ya some nice Law stuff..

as for 09/10 Ive had the best luck with Contenders myself.. my first box got me a redemption auto of the eventual rookie of the year Tyreke Evans. and my 2nd box got me a Blake Griffin Rookie auto and a Deron Williams auto #7/10..

this is just my opinion but I hope it helps.
