I've done it a few times, I just bought card points off ebay. I didn't get close to the $$ I spent, but was neat to try. Its stil a crap shoot, about 1/3 of them sill sell for more than the cost of points. I assume you're doing this year, they expire when? I thought they usually went to the next years calender end.

I agree. It's a crap shoot. I got lucky with mine, Taylor Hall Memo w/Auto 1/20.

If you can get the points cheap, why not try.

As you can see, it's that time of year when folks who were thinking about taking a run are giving up on it. LOL

In my singular experience it was definitely worth it. I ended up getting an Ovy/Datsyuk w/Ovy auto from last year's H&P which was promptly flipped for a PC Roy/Price w/Price auto - only Ovy auto I've ever had but to get a card like I did was well worth it. So it goes to show that even if you don't get the one you really really want right away, you can still parlay that into one that you do.

Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...
