    RIP Robin Roberts

A great man has passed this morning. He was one of my first TTM's and a generous signer for us all. A legend! He will be missed.

I just came inside this morning to grab a drink and saw it on ESPN and I literally just stopped on the spot. He was such a great guy and was one of the guys I wanted to meet the most this summer in Cooperstown.

I always thought how great it was if you requested an auto with $10 he'd sign it but if you didn't send or have the money to send he'd send back his little induction ticket signed for you.

Just a class act and one of the games best. He will certainly be missed.

He was really a nice guy. Of course, all all the money he requested went to BAT, not himself. I think I'll be sending them a donation today in his honor.

I'll probably be doing the same thing tomorrow.

Haven't watched them all but little stories from Mr. Roberts.

Video 5 is an awesome event the HOF held with Mr. Roberts not too long ago. Glad they put this up for the public.(On the old site this used to be a video in the members section which was the best benefit of membership)

It breaks my heart to see another legend gone, especially the nice ones like him. He was a gentleman in every sense of the word. Like many of you, Mr. Roberts was one of my first TTMs several years ago. I first sent him a nice letter and asked if he would sign a ball & card for me. He wrote me back telling me to send him what I had. He ended up signing a ROMLB, cards, 8x10s and sent me his famous signed ticket to the HOF too. A classy man that will be missed. I too will send BAT a donation in his name.

Sad to see him go. Did you see Jayson Werth point to the sky in his honor after he slugged that HR today? They are from the same hometown and Robin was his baseball hero growing up. It is truely nice to see players today that respect those who come before them and honor them as well. He will be missed and not forgotten.
